Mortgage Cadence Announces New Leadership to Drive Growth

"Mortgage Cadence has the critical ingredients required for success: the right people; a new, industry-leading product; and loyal customers."

Company appoints new CEO and two executives to its leadership team

DENVER; March 5, 2020 Mortgage Cadence, an Accenture (NYSE: ACN) company, has made several key appointments to its leadership team to drive growth, including that of Peter A. Espinosa, a veteran software and technology executive, as chief executive officer.

The company has also appointed Phil Huff as chief sales officer to lead the company’s effort to grow its client base as it launches its next-generation mortgage solution, the Mortgage Cadence Platform. In addition, Cate Dalton has been promoted to executive vice president, Customer Advocacy.

Mr. Espinosa succeeds Bryan Ireton, former CEO and managing director of Mortgage Cadence, who retired in January. Before joining Mortgage Cadence as CEO, Espinosa had a long career as a software and technology executive, leading global sales initiatives at IBM, Vignette, Retek, Guidewire Software and CSC, now DXC. He has been recognized by the National Leadership Institute with its esteemed Eagle Award and is a former executive of the year at IBM. Espinosa earned a B.A. in Speech Communications and Political Science from Luther College.

“I joined Mortgage Cadence because this organization has the critical ingredients required for success: the right people; a new, industry-leading product; and loyal customers,” Espinosa said. “I’m excited to help lead this great company on the next wave of growth.”

As chief sales officer, Huff brings to Mortgage Cadence a 20-year track record in building and growing technology and service businesses in the mortgage industry. He most recently served as senior vice president of Origination and Professional Services at Altisource and, before that, served as president at Platinum Data Solutions. Earlier in his career Huff founded eLynx, one of the most successful real estate technology firms of its time.

In her new role as EVP, Client Advocacy, Dalton is responsible for ensuring that customers achieve measurable business value and receive quality service from Mortgage Cadence. She joined the company in 2014 and was promoted to vice president of products last year. Previously Dalton spent 18 years with Stewart Title in the areas of business relationship management, information management, and sales management for mortgage services and title insurance technology solutions. She is a Six Seconds certified EQ Assessor and EQ consultant.
