EVP Marketing

With more than 35 years in the financial services and technology sectors, Dan’s expertise spans from marketing to operations with an emphasis on helping customers improve their lending performance through the delivery of an exceptional borrower experience.

Dan joined Mortgage Cadence 16 years ago through its acquisition of Prime Alliance Solutions, a company he helped launch and expand. They were an early pioneer in true Software as a Service (SaaS) mortgage loan origination and manufacturing technologies. He served in a variety of roles during his tenure at Prime Alliance including Chief Sales and Marketing Officer and Chief Operating Officer.

In 2002, when Mortgage Cadence entered into a phase of fast growth, Dan brought his expertise of strategic analysis as EVP of Operations. He planned, directed and coordinated operations which included formulating policies and strategic plans for future growth, managed daily operations of personnel and process in order to operationalize throughout multiple acquisitions and has worked diligently to keep the entire MC organization focused on simplifying the way they do business.

Dan expanded his leadership role in 2017 & 2018 to oversee both the operations team and the marketing team. With his guidance, the marketing team made significant inroads with the improvement of their marketing messaging, product marketing, sales enablement and content marketing. Dan is also spearheading the 2018 launch of a product strategy & architecture rebranding as Mortgage Cadences prepares for announcements around their next generation of solutions.

In his current role as EVP of Marketing, Dan is focused on gaining market share by being a data-driven organization. As the author of Mortgage Cadences’ Customer Benchmarking Study, now in its 6th year, he has successfully created a body of content that illustrates how MC’s high-performance customers get consistent results, and higher profitability. He works with the marketing and sales teams to design go-to-market strategies, sales enablement, and customer retention initiatives.

Dan holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration/Finance and Accounting from Michigan Technological University and has also completed coursework in the Mortgage Bankers Association of America's School of Mortgage Banking.
