Landmark Credit Union Chooses Symphony from Mortgage Cadence

April 4, 2013 – Mortgage Cadence LLC, a leading provider of Enterprise Lending Solutions (ELS), Document Services and Compliance for the financial services industry, announced today that Landmark Credit Union, New Berlin, Wisconsin, is converting to its Symphony platform this spring. Symphony is one of two comprehensive Enterprise Lending Systems offered by Mortgage Cadence. Known for its comprehensive, cloud-based architecture, Symphony provides the industry’s most compliantly efficient means of originating, processing and closing mortgage loans while delivering a superior experience for borrowers.

“There has never been a better time to update traditional mortgage origination and processing systems,” said Betty Feierstein, Vice President of Mortgage Lending for Landmark Credit Union. “The last several years of high loan volume combined with increased regulatory scrutiny has created a demand for technology and solutions that are designed for today’s constantly changing environment,” she continued.

Mortgage Cadence offers a complete product suite, wrapping traditionally separate point of sale, loan origination, secondary market and document management and imaging features into the Symphony solution. One system ensures data integrity, manages regulatory and GSE requirements and creates a better experience for borrowers. “Real-time communication with our members throughout the mortgage cycle is another significant benefit of the Mortgage Cadence solution. Using Mortgage Cadence’s brand new consumer portal, Prelude, members originate their own loans and check their status when it is convenient for them from any internet-connected device,” added Feierstein. Prelude is an integral component of Symphony. Newly redesigned, it sets a new standard for the internet financing experience.

Completely paperless, fully electronic mortgage lending has come of age. Symphony pioneered the process in 2008, refining it in efficiency and effectiveness over the past five years. “Our mortgage team is enthusiastic about moving from conventional folder-based lending to a fully paperless process. We know we will be more efficient and our members will be better served,” concluded Feierstein.

“Landmark Credit Union is one of Wisconsin’s oldest and strongest mortgage lenders,” said CEO of Mortgage Cadence Michael Detwiler. “We are delighted to be their choice and look forward to working with them as they achieve their goals of ever-greater member service and a truly paperless lending environment,” he stated.
