With nearly 20 years of sales and sales management experience in the mortgage information services industry, Stewart's appointment is essential as Mortgage Cadence continues its saturation into the mortgage banking industry and the continuous evolution of its progressive lending technology platform. Stewart joins Mortgage Cadence from Richmond, Va.-based LandAmerica Financial Group, Inc. Serving as the senior vice president of sales for LandAmerica Financial Group's (NYSE: LFG) Lender Services Division, he managed new sales growth of credit, flood, AVM's, title and closing services for mortgage lenders nationally. During his tenure at LandAmerica, Stewart integrated the sales team, technology and client base of four credit reporting agencies acquisitions while managing 30-plus sales executives and support personnel.
In his new role as vice president of enterprise sales for Mortgage Cadence, Stewart is responsible for managing all aspects of the consultative sales process from the initial identification of leads through the signing of contracts for the purchase of the Mortgage Cadence Orchestrator lending platform. Prior to LandAmerica, Stewart held the position of national and regional sales manager for Norcross, Ga.-based INFO1 Holding Company. While employed at INFO1, Stewart was responsible for three acquisition integrations, development of many of the national B2B (technology initiatives) and wholesale lender trading-partner programs all of which accelerated growth for INFO1 to become one of the nations largest and most respected consumer reporting agency. Stewart also supervised, staffed and implemented national tradeshows, conventions, and public relation activities. He instituted standard sales process, reporting, measurements, compensation, and training programs through out the sales organization resulting in a strong, consistent and sustained growth. Stewart participated in the merger and acquisition process that ultimately resulted in the sale of the company in August 2003 to LandAmerica Financial Group.
