3t Systems, the developer of Mortgage Cadence®, has added Guardian Mortgage Documents (GMD) as a document preparation and electronic delivery solution provider for its flagship enterprise-wide lending process solution and decisioning engine for the mortgage industry, Mortgage Cadence.

Mortgage Cadence delivers enterprise-wide mortgage lending technology from a single production database. It provides a flexible and extensible platform upon which lenders can automate and integrate core business processes. Interfacing with GMD's Next Generation Forms Engine (NGFE) allows Mortgage Cadence to deliver document preparation solutions as an embedded part of its lending platform.

"With Mortgage Cadence, lenders have access to all loan data from origination to post-closing at a single point of input," said Mike Detwiler, president of 3t Systems. "By leveraging Guardian Mortgage Documents' NGFE technology behind the scenes, we can deliver embedded doc prep functionality from within Mortgage Cadence, allowing lenders to order closing documents without leaving the Mortgage Cadence screen. All changes to the loan data are reflected in real time on the documents themselves."

The embedded integration with GMD's NGFE provides lenders on the Mortgage Cadence platform with the ability to run validations that check for accuracy prior to document ordering, helping to ensure that all information, including pricing, is correct. Lenders can quickly generate closing documents that conform to their specific guidelines and receive the documents within seconds of requesting them through Mortgage Cadence.

"Our IT infrastructure differentiates GMD from other providers and enables us to meet and exceed the technical and security-related requirements that tier-one institutions demand," said Tim Anschutz, vice president of Marketing for GMD. "In addition to our ability to meet thebusiness application requirements of any solution, we are finding that more and more companies turn to us because they trust our IT infrastructure over that of any of our competitors."

Unlike many vendors in the document preparation segment who have a single data center or a disaster recovery solution on "hot standby," GMD operates multiple class-one data centers (each separated by more then 500 miles) that are synchronized in real-time for load balancing, and that are redundant to each other as well as internally. Each facility boasts world-class biometric security and environmental and technical monitoring systems to ensure the prevention of any negative impact on client operations.

"Our self-imposed service level requirements are to identify and respond to events prior to our clients being affected," said Anschutz. "For example, standard operating procedure for GMD is to operate at an average capacity level no greater than 20 percent of total available resources to ensure world-class reliability metrics in terms of speed and availability." "The overall redundancy combined with our real-time monitoring throughout the system provides clients with world class availability and consistency," continued Anschutz. "When tier-one institutions perform due diligence reviews on GMD's offerings, our IT infrastructure is found to be good enough for them to adopt as their own and to incorporate into their mission critical business applications."

"Given the strategic manner in which Mortgage Cadence has architected workflow management throughout its modules, lenders have access to an unparalleled breadth of core business processes from a single production site," Anschutz concluded. "The seamless integration with Mortgage Cadence allows GMD to play a vital support role in adding value to a very powerful echelon of lenders that seek a serious, proven, enterprise-wide lending solution."

"This integration with GMD provides the additional value of the industry's preferred document prep solution through the Mortgage Cadence platform," said Detwiler. "Seamless integrations with solutions such as NGFE allow us to continue efforts in being a true enterprise lending solution for the mortgage industry."
