Homefield Financial has expanded into a new wholesale business channel using new loan origination and processing technology from Mortgage Cadence. Homefield operates and is licensed in California, Colorado, Florida, Washington, Oregon, Minnesota and Michigan. It previously used Loansoft technology (acquired by GHR Systems in 2003), but it wanted to be able to integrate compliance checks into the loan process and migrate from a batch process it used. It also wanted a business rule management system (BRMS) and workflow engine.
