Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization (MISMO) will be hosting a Trimester Workgroup Meeting to discuss initiatives. MISMO was established by the Mortgage Bankers Association of America (MBA) to coordinate the development and maintenance of e-commerce specifications for the exchange of real estate finance transactions. The purpose of developing such standards is to enable mortgage-related information to be exchanged between suppliers, distributors and consumers more efficiently and economically.
